# Sample apps

**Portal version:** 0.1.0
**Updated:** 2026-08-28
**Source menu item:** Sample apps
**Availability:** Documented and testable

> The source contract and local workflow exist. Access still depends on the target hospital deployment and its policy gates.

The TEST-only lab-result-viewer demonstrates scaffold, synthetic FHIR, webhook replay protection, signing, handoff, and acceptance.

## What you can use now

- Run it with synthetic fixtures and inspect every evidence artifact.
- Fork the template for production work; never ship TEST keys or sample identities.

## Current limits

- The sample artifact is deliberately non-deployable and proves no hospital availability.

## Next step

Start with the [medOS Developer overview](/developers/platform/overview) and confirm the target hospital’s enabled contracts before production work.
